The Sardonic Truth

From TB'S Poetry Book "Disturbances"

T.B. Taylor

The lightening strikes the hallowed earth

And the thunder is its afterbirth.

Darkness covers shaken ground

Then to me your soul is bound.

When the wind blows through your hair

And you feel life hasn't treated you fair

Then you'll know that I'm close by

And you'll look up to a black night sky

And you'll feel the coldness encase your flesh.

Then cold and heat will start to mesh.

I'm telling you now and in time

When Hell comes 'round your soul is mine!
