The Sea

makineedi
two thirds of existence
but, the same life, boring
alas, the sea!

can't move
even can't cross its limit...
alas, the sea!

brackish, brackish and brackish
all the life, long tarnished!

fathoms of brackishness abyss...
miles and miles
of vacuum spread over
alas, the sea!

doesn't germinate a floral plant
doesn't grow a fruity tree
alas, the sea!

day and night restless
thrashing and smiting
its head to the ground
alas, alas, the sea!

*

how many times
and at what times
in the morning or evening
at noon or night-

whenever I go
comes crawling
with its floral giggle of surfing!

comes crawling to greet me!
oh, comes the sea!

whenever I see
comes running
with its stretched head of billows!

comes running to see me!
oh, runs the sea!

whenever I call
rushes moving within
the fathoms of love
and drench in ablution
my feet ...and heart...

rushes to call on me!
oh, rushes the sea!

giving me always...
the same flowers of mirth
and the sane fruits of blithe!
oh, oh, the sea!

*

ever ready
to wash the myriads of feet
coming, seeing and calling...

it keeps on hitting its head
myriads and myriads of times
day and night restless, relentless...

welcomes with brackish warmth
of endless mirth and blithe!

so great, the sea
so generous, the sea!
