The Search for Life

No Matter How Much We Resist, We Must Take It

Throughout the ages, people have been searching, searching for answers to simple questions about life. "Who am I?" "What is the meaning of life?" "Is God real?" "What is the purpose of life?" "What is my purpose?" Many people have provided what they feel are the answers to these questions, but even if the answers given are correct, each individual must take the journey to search for the answers themselves. It is a spiritual journey that every single person must take at one time or another in order to grow. This growth is not of a physical nature, but solely that of the spirit. The trouble is, the journey is extremely difficult, but the good news is, it is directly correlated with self-growth. Upon reaching a certain plateau in this mastering of self exercise, one will sense a peace inside themselves as well as complete wholeness within. The purpose of the journey is to build a strong inner person in which an individual will be able to stand up for his values or beliefs against an overpowering world. The feeling of this peaceful, wholeness is unmatched when compared with anything else and all know this. Each person feels it in their soul that completeness is out there somewhere in which it drives them everyday to search for it. If nothing is found, people feel empty. It is the soul's search for answers before physical time is up.

During this short lived lifetime, nothing else but this search truly manners. All individuals who have become successful or, in terms of money, are very rich, would give it all up just to have the feeling of wholeness and peace. For example, when one sees prominent businessmen or famous actors binging on drugs which at times end in death, it is because these people are searching for this completeness but they have taken the wrong road entirely. Anyone can have all the physical success and money in the world but these things cannot grant peace. Outsiders see this which gives them great shock because these famous, wealthy people seemly had it all, but they lacked one thing: a strong inner person. These lost souls did not lose their soul itself, but rather, they are searching for a way to strengthen their soul like everyone else. It is the mission of this life.

This mission of life will always be as long as there is life. Whether it is one year from now or one million years from now, people will always be searching for answers to these simple questions about life and spirituality. With the expansion of the internet, more and more people will be searching cyberspace for these answers or for ways and methods of finding these answers. Everything else that one could search for is simply a fad and will not hold up in comparison. The fad for which people search in any given time period may last for thousands of years but the search described above will last for eternity.
