The Season Premiere of House

New Season, New Faces

N.S. Reidnauer
As the 2006 season of House came to it's end, Dr. Houses' entire medical team was gone. With the resignation of one member of his team and the firing of another, Cameron also decided that it was time for a change and gave her notice. The new season started with a sick girl named Megan, involved in a building explosion, and House had no one to help him figure out how to save her.

Needing a team to help him form a diagnosis, House finds a janitor to bounce ideas off of and then has the janitor pose as a doctor. When the man refuses to break into the girls home, House tricks Wilson into going with him. While Megan burns with fever, House finds evidence that she may be on anti-depressants, but her family refuses to believe this and will not consent to dialysis. After Megan confirms that she was in fact on anti-depressants she went into heart failure.

Finding nothing wrong with her heart, House decides that she has the DTs, caused from drinking, but her fiancee insists that she wasn't a drunk. After Megan has several more diagnoses and a bout of severe internal bleeding, House realizes that she isn't Megan, she's really Liz, Megan's co-worker who was believed to have died the previous day.

In an attempt to bully House into hiring a new team, Wilson steals his guitar and holds it ransom. Cutty makes the mistake of telling him to hire new doctors using whatever technique works for him and at the very end of the show House is in as room full of the candidates for the new positions claiming that it will be a six week process in which 29 of them will be disqualified.

House airs on Tuesday nights at 9P.M. on your local Fox network channel.
