You won't want to miss the Opening Night Gala on October 16, 2009 at the Egyptian Theatre where you can catch the highly-anticipated film "An Englishman in New York". This 74-minute film chronicling the life of Quentin Crisp stars John Hurt, Swoosie Kurtz, Jonathan Tucker, Cynthia Nixon and Denis O'Hare. The $30 ticket comes with entry to the film and after-party invite to the swank SODO Park. Following the screening, you can choose to drive directly to SODO Park or jump on a big, yellow bus from The Egyptian Theatre. Refreshments, entertainment and prizes await your arrival. Purchase your Opening Night Film & Gala or Festival/Party Pass via Brown Paper Tickets (https://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/83568).

Closing night is equally as exciting as opening night at the Seattle Lesbian & Gay Film Festival. "Hannah Free" is the featured film of the evening and stars Sharon Gless (star of "Cagney & Lacey" and "Queer as Folk"). "Hannah Free" will be shown at Cinerama on October 25, 2009 and a reception will follow at the Pan Pacific Hotel. Enjoy decadent cupcakes by Cupcake Royale and savory eats from City Catering. Purchase your Closing Night Film & Gala or Festival/Party Pass via Brown Paper Tickets (https://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/83588).

Between opening night and closing night extravaganzas, there are countless other opportunities to explore and enjoy this year's Seattle Lesbian & Gay Film Festival. Centerpiece galas, receptions and parties surround this year's Seattle Lesbian & Gay Film Festival unlike any other. Visit the festival home page(http://www.seattlequeerfilm.com/) to find out more information and to reserve your tickets before they sell out.
