The Seattle Locks
Big ships, small boats, canoes and kayaks
flow through the locks
water rises up then it drops down
another water-craft liberated to open sea
voyages to the orient, or just a short excursion
Russian fishing trawlers make such big wakes
Orca's patrol the blue domain, sea gulls master's of the air
up above the locks I fish , maybe today I'll catch that King salmon.
