There are some hot spots in Seattle this New Year's Eve that are definitely work checking out. I've done the research for you and have come up with my top 5 places to see and be seen this New Year's Eve. Here they are (in no particular order):

DList Magazine Presents: New Year's Eve 2010
DList is the hip Seattle magazine to reference whenever a party is on the horizon. It is a free publication available on the streets of Seattle (usually next to the Seattle Times newspaper). This year, DList will co-sponsor a show-stopping New Year's Eve party at Fremont Film Studios (155 N 35th St). Fremont Studios boasts 50,000 square feet of dance space, red carpets and bar nooks. The party starts at 9:00pm and ends at 2:00am. Cost per person is $55.00. Ages 21 and over.

Rock the Boat New Year's Eve Party
The Islander Yacht Club will host this Rock the Boat New Year's Eve Party. Take in the views from Lake Union (1611 Fairview Ave. E.) and witness the Space Needle and Lake Union fireworks as 2009 turns into 2010. The cost of this event is $69.99 and is likely to increase the closer it gets to December 31, 2009. There will be a free champagne toast at midnight, music by Kube 93 DJ Harrison Wood and free open bar. The party starts at 9:30pm with the boat scheduled to depart at 10:30am. The boat will sail all night and will only stop for emergency purposes. Age 21 and over.

New Year's Eve Classic Hollywood Party at Heaven Nightclub
Heaven Nightclub is pulling out all the stops again this New Year's Eve with their Classic Hollywood: A Night with the Stars party. Heaven Nightclub (172 S. Washington) is located in Pioneer Square. The festivities start early and continue throughout the evening and into the early morning. Arrive between 7:00pm - 9:00pm with the pre-party fun and stay until the doors slam shut at 2:00am. There are two large rooms for entertainment, music, dancing and drinks. DJ's Mr. Supreme, D Look and ADHDJ will be spinning Top 40 tunes all night. Classic Hollywood will make a grand appearance in the way of burlesque acts, Hollywood cabaret routines and red carpet photos for all. Presale ticket cost is $40.00. Ages 21 and over.

New Year's Eve 2010 at See Sound Lounge
This ultra plush lounge is located in Seattle's Belltown neighborhood (115 Blanchard). Your invitation to the See Sound Lounge party includes table service, a champagne toast at midnight with balloon drop, go-go dancers, VJ Scobot, dancing and more. The party starts at 8:00pm and lasts until 2:00am. Presale ticket cost is $30.00 and $40.00 at the door. Ages 21 and over.

New Year's Eve at Tiki Bob's Cantina
Tiki Bob's Cantina is best-known for Top 40 music, dancing and out-of-this-world cocktails. This New Year's Eve will bring out the best in all that Tiki Bob's has to offer. The New Year's Eve party at this Pioneer Square bar staple (166 S. King St) begins at 8:00am and ends at 2:00am. During this timeframe, dance until your heart's content to the Top 40 music that made your year. Also, prepare for the $1,000 balloon drop and complimentary champagne toast at midnight. Booth reservations and multiple ticket discounts are available by contacting Tiki Bob's directly. Tickets are a mere $20.00 online or $30.00 at the door (after 12:00pm on December 31, 2009).

Whatever you do and wherever you go this New Year's Eve, have fun, be smart and do not drink and drive.
