The Secret to My Refuge

A.M. Morgan

It feels refreshing after a warm summer day

It brings a smile to my face in its own special way

It has carried me through difficult times through the years

I love the way the trees sway in its presence

And how it magically displays its joy

The leaves fall and dance because of its romantic gestures

Flying away it appears to be uncommitted, but it's weightless in spirit

Dynamic in impact but exercising no excessive force

It has settled on one shore but from coast to coast many adore it

On the dock of a bay many sit and envision recapturing it

When I was a little baby my mother use to rock me to sleep to the beat of it

My father use to say," When you leave here you'll suddenly appreciate it"

Close your eyes

Let's cherish the moment

Here it comes!

And it is so peaceful and serene

Can you feel it?

All hail to The Southern Breeze

Wooooo!!! Now that took me to an open field full of daisies and lillies, while dancing on a swing under a tree, trying to catch up with the birds. Awesome, beautiful, romantic, peaceful, serene, and perfectly said...I enjoyed where you took me, and I look forward to the next trip!! Happy New Years!
