The Secret of Success

People worldwide have to go to work every single week and they have to determine if they like their job or if they hate to go to work everyday. What is success really and can you ever truly obtain it? Success is being able to go to work everyday feeling good about what you do. Money comes and goes, but doing what you love to do will always remain deep inside of your heart. Success should never be about money because money can be taken from you as fast as it was given. Some people have lost their homes in fires, hurricanes, disasters and all kinds of ways. However, nobody can ever take away your likes and dislikes.

True success means that you are able to earn a living doing what you love no matter what it is. You don't have to get paid millions of dollars a year for doing it and not everyone may agree that you are doing the best thing with your life. Many people have found success by opening up charities and giving money to other people that need it. Americans are fortunate to live in a democratic society that allows you to choose for yourself what you want to do with it. Imagine if you had to walk through life walking around being told what to do all of the time. In North Korea, many North Koreans are forced to perform jobs that they hate doing every day and they cannot even have access to the computer or to the outside world unless the government gives them permission to do so. The young men are forced to serve in the North Korean military until they are dismissed from their duties. Many North Korean men have to spend 5-10 years serving in the military and getting paid only around $10.00 a month. Their dreams could never be because of dictatorship and a lack of democracy. How sad it would be to never have the opportunity to do with your life what you had envisioned your life to be. Freedom is success in and of itself. If you are living in a free democracy, then you are already successful. Freedom is never free; it was bought with a price and a very high one. Many soldiers had to risk their lives fighting for freedom and to give us the job that we have today in America.

The secret of success is to find out what you love to do and to figure out a way to earn a living from doing it. You may have to adjust your lifestyle a little bit in order to financially earn a living doing what you love, but it will be worth it in the end. After all, if you are working just to please your family that wants the fancy cars and nice home and you have to work crazy hours every day of the week, it's not worth it. One day, your kids will move out when they are old enough and you will be sitting in your big house all alone. Perhaps your spouse wont care much either because they have nobody to show the "bling bling" to. You may be able to sit on millions of dollars, but you will not be happy with what you have obtained in your life because its not success. Materialistic things are not what make you successful, it's finding your passion and being able to make a living from it is what makes your successful. If you are looking for success today, then just try to listen to your heart and go after what you really want in life.
