The Secret Weapon in any Naruto Deck

Believe It!

In the Naruto world there is no ninja as recognizable as our hero Naruto Uzumaki .In the world of his trading card game the story is much the same, we try and build decks based around this guy, and even incorporate him in many a variety of deck styles. Currently in the card game there are 17 versions of Naruto, each with different abilities, and the newer ones have different attributes, so choosing the right three to use in any deck may be tough. There are however among all the Narutos a few that take precedence over the rest in the current meta of the game.

Naruto Uzumaki Control of Power is possibly the best all around form of Naruto to date. His effect can be devastating to an opponent, making Naruto a possible 6 on turn 1 and it can be used multiple times, at any point during the exchange of jutsus. He also has the growth ability farthing upping his potential, the only problem is that if you use his power a lot you can easily deck yourself out.

Naruto Uzumaki Nine Tailed Chakra is an old card, but has seen new life in recent days with the release of the newest set in the game. While injured, and on his own team Naruto will get +X attack where X = the number of cards in your hand. Early on in the game that may equal a lot of attack, probably ranging from around 3-6 for the first three turns of the game. That is just amazing, but of course being an earlier card he has no growth effect. Also his power only works while he is by himself, so without any power ups to back up his ability Naruto may be killed off before turn 2.

Naruto Uzumaki Imposter shows off Naruto's ability to use clone status, and his stubbornness. This version of Naruto can be very hard to kill off because each time he receives damage you flip a coin, if heads all the damage is reduced to zero, a pretty amazing effect, but only if it works right. Aside from the fact that he's going to be hard to kill there's really nothing special about this Naruto. He has no other effect, and average attack while injured and no growth, he just happens to be a good damage taker.

Naruto Uzumaki Strength in a Crisis is a really good card for a deck wanting to come out strong early. Every time Naruto is blocked by a team he gains an extra +2 attack for that turn. He may lack the growth effect, but still has clone status and can be as possible 5 when blocked in injured status.

Naruto Uzumaki Self Sacrifice Attack is one of the better Naruto's around. If he or his team are defeated, or completely defeated in battle then your opponents head ninja also takes a hit. This can be great for bringing down a really powerful Jonin ninja or hitting a ninja with a really annoying power that's not valid. He also has the growth ability, which you may need to use since his attacking power is so weak.

Growth apparently has become a big issue in the game, it can permanently up your overall power, and so Naruto Uzumaki Fast Growth is a great choice. When he comes into play by the growth effect you can give him an additional +1/1 aside from the +1/1 he gets for the growth effect. This means that when injured Naruto is going to be a permanent 5/2 meaning he's going to be great on attack, and even gives decent support.

You may need a way to summon some ninja toads so if that's what you're looking to do the Naruto Last Minuet Success is a perfect choice. His stats are the same as any other Naruto, but when injured he gains the "oil" attribute he needs to summon ninja toads. This is great because before now Jiraya was the only ninja that was able to do such a thing, but now Naruto can really help out when summoning

The last Naruto I would suggest using would be Main Character Privilege. When your opponent has more ninja then you in play you can play Naruto and another ninja in your hand. In other words he does not count towards the one ninja per turn limit that is normally in effect. He's great for having field presence, and his stats are average, just the same as each other Naruto in the card game, but he lacks growth. Still this card is a good choice if you have a problem getting a lot of ninja into play to stop an opponent.

So that covers the eight best Narutos in the current playing environment. There are more, like I said there are 17, but these are the most playable. Other Naruto cards may be good, but depend on your deck, and what goals you are trying to accomplish.
