The Self-Righteous Contradiction
My fragile heart still wants to let go
However, my mind cannot seem to let my inhibitions know
My faith resides on shaky ground despite the worldly confidence I pretend to show
Truthfully, I pray for direction sometimes but still wonder how to grasp the future within my control
In addition, the struggle to find balance within divine purpose sits at the seat of my soul
Boastfully spiritually aware but as my fears still linger I recognize I am living within a self-righteous contradiction
