The Separation of Church and Fate

Oh, yes indeed.
I do believe
that faith in God
is faith in me,
For all life shines with a spark of Divine,
while faith in man, the godly one
is all you think that I should see,
all you think I'm meant to be
As if my worth lies within the confines
of bias
and an ID furnished glass house called belief!
Your comfort zone underestimates me

With this logic conveniently flawed,
and a cost for such fame in a self-centered game
too high and outside to pay or see,
But no worries,
for in the end
the One and Only lord
is God,
and She resides
in me.
