The Seven Deadly Sins Portrayed by Hollywood's Best

Every single human being I have ever known is afflicted with at least one of the seven deadly sins. Now I don't mean they are evil or anything such as, but I know some over indulger's, the lustful, and the vain. While most of us will feel overwhelmed by all of the sins over time we usually are afflicted with one in particular.

I have noticed that many of the famous stars in Hollywood are quite the sinners themselves. Some more so than others. I am going to list for each sin a famous person that is one way or another is the sin themselves.

The Seven Deadly Sins and their definitions in short along with the stars who portray or portrayed the sins are;

Wrath (anger or rage) someone with inordinate or uncontrollable feeling of anger and hatred. The desire to seek revenge is great.

Brynn Hartman wife of late Phil Hartman took his life and then her own because she was filled with jealousy and anger over the career of her husband. She had wanted a Hollywood career of her own and it never really took off. Her husband was at his prime and it was said that she just could not take it anymore and her wrath took hold while she was boozed and drugged and it came to an unfortunate end for the both of them.

Envy is an insatiable desire to attain another person's material goods, whatever they may be. And the want to see the other person deprived of that which they own.

This one was pretty hard to pick just one star for. All the time stars are taking other stars wife's/husbands and then once they have them they seem bored. I went with Angelina Jolie on this one, not because she just took Brad Pitt and was sorry for it, but she seemed to deeply enjoy the almost ruination of Jennifer Aniston it was disgusting to watch. Her envious personality will only one day result in the same thing happening to someone else I'm sure.

Sloth is an extreme laziness or indifference to anything and everything. Sloth while still a serious sin is generally considered one of the lesser sins.

Val Kilmer, do you remember Top Gun, or Willow? I do and when I see Val Kilmer now I think yuck that is what happens when you give up on yourself and get lazy. He is bloated, usually dressed bad and even his mannerisms seem a bit slowed down, sometimes too much of a good thing gets the best of an Actor as must have happened with him.

Pride (vanity) is an excessive belief to one's own abilities. The desire to be more attractive and more important than all others. This is considered to be the most dangerous sin to have. This is what brought Satan down from heaven.

Kanye West, does anything else really need to be said? When it comes to being prideful he comes in on top. From his live remarks about the President to his taking the microphone from Taylor Swift to him saying that he is the best performer and singer there is. This guy is the very definition of prideful.

Gluttony is the desire to consume more than what is required. Someone who is a glutton for food will eat in excess and will not share even with those who are starving, they feel the need to consume it all.

Anna Nicole Smith was a glutton through and through, whether it be food, pills, alcohol or men she did not know when to stop consuming and in the end her sin of Gluttony is what took her life, sad.

Lust is an excessive thought or thoughts of a sexual nature, a sexual addiction. Giving into lust can lead to sexual or sociological problems.

David Duchovny was chosen for lust for obvious reasons. He just got out of a rehabilitation center for sexual addiction not too long ago and then he goes back to work on his fairly new show Californication where he plays a writer who engages in sexual activities with any woman he comes across. While slightly amusing for all of us to see, it seems as if it is a way for him to just feed his lusty addiction.

Greed is like lust an gluttony in that it is a sin of excess but the sin greed is seen as having the need to attain all power through money, wealth.

Jon and Kate were the obvious choice for greed. They were so willing to put their children and themselves in the spotlight for a nice paycheck that they forgot the very definition of what it means to be a parent and lost themselves as well, it is truly shameful.

Well there you have it. Anytime you want to see the face of sin just turn on your television.
