CNN's Sexy News Correspondent # 1 - Anderson Cooper, Shy Confidence
Anderson Cooper was born in 1967 in New York and graduated Yale with a Political Science degree. He is an anchor on CNN's Anderson Cooper 360 and is one of the 60 Minutes news reporters for CBS. He has also hosted The Mole, appeared on Celebrity Jeopardy (where he kicked butt!) and has appeared on Live with Regis and Kelly. He has covered news around the world, including the Katrina devastatioin, the bombings in London and acted as commentator on the CNN special Planet in Peril.
Anderson's appeal is a combination of confidence, sincerity, intelligence, integrity, subtle humor, and a touch of shyness. With that pre-mature silver hair and straight-shooting blue-eyed glance into the camera, he is one of those shap-dressed men who grows on you continuously, because he never does anything to turn you off. It is truly amazing that someone who covers the political landscape day after day can report the current events without obvious personal bias. When he does push a point, he is tactful and respectful, and has an uncanny way of injecting a little dry humor when necessary.
Looks like Anderson, is single, girls, and near perfect. So, Anderson, what faults are you hiding?
CNN's Sexy News Correspondet # 2 - Sanjay Gupta, Exotic Appeal and Success
Sanjay Gupta was born in Novi, Michigan in 1967 and is CNN's chief medical correspondent, an assistant professor of neurosurgery, and practicing neurosurgeon in Atlanta. CNN's profile of Sanjay tells us that he "contributes health news stories to CNN.com and CNNHealth.com, co-hosts "Accent Health" for Turner Private Networks, provides medical segments for the syndicated version of ER on TNT, writes a column for TIME magazine, anchors the global health program Vital Signs for CNN International."
Sanjay covered the September 11th attacks at the World Trade Center, and, according to his CNN profile, has reported from Irag and Kuwait as a correspondent with the United States Naval Medical Unit, where he performed sugeries with the "Devil Docs." who handle front-line casualties.
He has travelled internationally covering relevant medical news. His passion for a healthier future worldwide inspires him regularly to play a major role in many documentaries on health issues around the globe. He covered the 2008 presidential election, and outlined in documentaries the toll the pressures of the presidency takes on each President's health. Gupta was on President Obama's shortlist for appointment to the Surgeon General's position, but withdrew his name, speculated to be due to controversy over possible conflicts of interest with the drug companies who had sponsored his broadcasts.
Sanjay has that quiet mystery, exotic appeal and an understated confidence that comes with successfully knowing who he is, and what his highest purpose in life is. And for we girls, he is definitely one hot doc! He is handsome intelligence wrapped up in a doctor's medical coat, something ladies swoon over! However, Sanjay is married with children, so look, but do not touch!
CNN's Sexy News Correspondent # 3 - John King, Arresting Good Looks
John King was born in 1963 in Dorchester, Massachusetts. John is the Anchor of CNN's Sunday news program, "State of the Union with John King", and CNN's chief national correspondent. According to CNN's profile of John, "King was a key part of CNN's innovative "America Votes 2008" coverage of the presidential campaign. He traveled to important early election states to cover and interview major candidates, broke news about campaign developments."
Even though he has an impressive list of journalistic accomplishments, we might all remember him best using CNN's innovative "Magic Wall" during his coverage of the 2008 election, which gave us visual stimulus in reporting the up-to-the minute tracking of primary and election voting results.
Speaking of Visual Stimulus, John has arresting good looks and a quiet confidence that grabs a girl's interest right away. In addition to that superficial stuff, his appeal comes from his knowledgeable approach to political reporting. He has the ability to think on his feet during his interviews with world leaders and politicians on complex and controversial subjects. That touch of grey in his hair and his blue eyes are like an electric charge for female viewers. But, girls, John is taken. He married Dana Bash in 2008, another CNN correspondent. Sorry!
CNN's Sexy News Correspondent #4 - Michael Ware, Testosterone Laced Bad Boy
Michael Ware was born in Brisbane, Austrailia in 1969 and is an international correspondent with CNN. Wikipedia says the following about Michael. "He is one of the few mainstream war correspondents to have lived in Baghdad near-continuously since before the American invasion and he gained early acclaim as one of the few reporters to establish contacts with the Kurdish Peshmerga and the Iraqi insurgency."
Despite Michael's rough-around-the-edges appearance and brash personality, there is something about Michael's brave delivery of the news as bombs explode around him, that comes across a bit sexy. This man has lived among the chaos and dangers in Iraq to report it back to us here in the states. His thick, Austrialian dialect has a disarming appeal as well.
A June 26, 2008 Huffington Post article, "Lara Logan, Michael Ware, Involved in Steamy Love Triangle Love Triangle" tells us that Michael and another man were involved in a Baghdad "safe house" brawl over Lara Logan, who is Chief Foreign Affairs Correspondent for CBS News and 60 Minutes correspondent. Lara denies the story about the brawl between the two men, but admits her fling with Ware.
Michael is that rugged-type man many women find appealing. He represents a bad-boy machismo we girls secretly yearn for; that man who would fight for our affection, even in the midst of war, and take a bullet for his woman if it came down to it!
From this single woman's perspective, these are the sexy men of CNN. Ladies, crank up the fans to high and then pick your own sexy news guy!
