The Sheriff

Jim Yackel
In March of 2011, we have seen Japan and Myanmar come to the forefront of nations shaken by an increasingly unsettled earth. We've been saddened by scenes of death and destruction and we know that there will be more, but we cannot avert our eyes.

We've wondered as radiation leaks from a compromised Fukuskima nuclear facility, just how many will be contaminated; both within and without the evacuation zone? Are we being told the truth? We cannot help but to lean toward the skeptical side. In Japan, many remain poisoned by leaking radioactivity and many others buried under concrete and rubble. As you read this, you may be buried and poisoned as well; in a spiritual sense.

Nothing is secure in this world - no, not a single thing. Your job is not secure, no matter how much seniority or tenure you have accumulated. Do you think that your union is going to keep your hindquarters out of the unemployment frying pan? You had better think again, as your union exists for the benefit of those who run it. We are revisiting the shoot 'em up cowpoke times of the Wild, Wild West, but our days will be significantly influenced by what happens in the Turbulent, Tempestuous East. Have you noticed from which direction the tumbleweeds blow?

Four horsemen will ride through town, but before they make their way across the desert a villain rides amongst us perched upon a dark beast that is at once a horse and a dragon; and many cry out "where is the Lawman?" This Lawman does not live in Washington, and he who would pose as such is not. You must ask yourself "whose side is the pseudo Lawman on?"

There will be wars and rumors of wars, and in the Turbulent Tempestuous East these rumors are being proven true. There will be earthquakes in diverse places and while there always have been, they are increasing in these days of the new Wild, Wild West and with those quakes come deadly tsunamis. The misguided who falsely worship this earth as a goddess named Gaia will see their object of worship turned into meek and manipulated maiden.

There is nothing secure in the new Wild, Wild West and Dollar Bill is now but a small businessman who is being rubbed-out by a syndicate that is the one world conglomerate...

...But,

There is a Sheriff and He is honorable and true. There is a Sheriff who will stand down the villains. There is a Sheriff who will keep us eternally protected in a city of gold and we will walk its streets in peace, safety, security, and serenity.

The villain who is the prince of the air is no match for the Sheriff's quick draw. It may seem that the prince of the air who is but a beast is winning, but this is only for a time. The Sheriff will arrest the villainous beast and bind it in chains.

The Sheriff will remake the earth after terrible tribulation leaves her in near ruins. He, the Sheriff, who is the fulfillment of the Law, will prove that Gaia is no goddess nor is she a mother. He created this earth and he will remake it, but first...

The Sheriff will rescue us from the wrath that is to come. This is again the Wild, Wild West, but I assure you dear friend that this is nothing compared to what will visit this earth. The Sheriff is our only escape from that wrath and He will come with great and glorious trumpet sound and with a shout that will shake our souls and lift us up.

While we know neither the day nor the hour, we must fear not, for the Sheriff is coming to save the day.

Fear not, for the Sheriff is Jesus Christ the Lord.
