Created to be woven into the eyelets of my shoes
I sit and I ponder, oh how should I choose?
I sit and I ponder, oh how should I choose?
Will I pick you to keep my tennis shoes tight
Or will I tie you together for my kite to take flight?
You are white, you are black, yellow and brown
You are curly and stretchy and don't make a sound.
As I tie up my hair, you will dangle and bounce
Your wiggly movement makes my kitty cat pounce.
Whether practical or crafty, your uses will vary
Even to make a garter, for the day that I marry!
