Reapers Vs Shooting Blanks Are Next!

In last nights play the Blanks wasted no time getting on the board scoring on their first drive of the game for a 1-0 lead just :19 in.
The lead would stay the same the rest of the first and carry into the second.
But period two would change the face of the game as the Blanks would build a two goal lead at the 12:17 mark and then with time winding down connect at 1:37 and then again the back breaker at 1:09. The two goal lead added up to a 4-0 lead heading into the final session.
The two teams would trade goals in the third and that would add up to another Blanks finals appearance.The Shooting Blanks goal scoring was lead by two from team captain Pat Mulroy with Ciazzia, Conte and Barker also contributing to the offense.
Goalie Anthony Manno was on his game last night making many big saves as his shut out bid would hold up to thirty one seconds left in the game.
The Reapers and Blanks in the best of there series is next. The two teams split the season series one game a piece and will be a good one to watch as both teams are well rounded.
In the first game of the season the two teams met and the Shooting Blanks built a 4-0 lead only to see the Reapers score five unanswered goals and take a 5-4 win. In the second match up the Reapers were trying to make history in the Bay with nineteen straight wins but it was the Blanks who would put it to an end to the stunning eighteen straight victories with a 4-3 win. Two games played against each other two one goal games, the Kings Bay Finals kick off next week!
