The Show Must Go On

Hooray I lost!

Doesnt matter what I lost or who I lost,

YOU must be happy!!

I lost my best friend, I lost my love

I lost my zeal to live, I lost my verve;

I lost the reason of staying alive each day

Now I dont even care whether its Jan or May...

They say I'll get over you

there's no need to worry;

I know that's true

But I dont wanna hurry.

Atleast let me experience the pain

To get up each morning and realize everything went away in vain.

In this age of globalization

Where things get done in a jiffy, finished without a realization;

I need to go slow and experience it all

To leave the pain behind before the curtain call.

The cries are lost in the din, in the noise,

Nobody notices the tears, the choking in my voice

All they want is to see me happy forever

I pray for them... may they get over this morbid obsession.

Its another day, another dawn

I get up silently praying I was long gone...

But as they say, THE SHOW MUST GO ON.
