If you are worried that you may in fact have diabetes or want to know about the symptoms, proceed to read this article. By the time you finish reading, you should hopefully know all you want to know and more about the signs of diabetes. Symptoms may come very quickly in diabetes, especially in diabetes type 1. Some may even be seen as quickly as in a week of developing. In any case, you should ask your doctor if you do see any of these symptoms on you or on your friends and family.

Some signs/symptoms are fairly easy to notice. An abnormal increase in your appetite could in fact could be a sign of you being diabetic. If you find that you are often thirsty or parched abnormally, you may also have the risk of being diabetic. This symptom can be seen in diabetes type 2, and can be caused if you are drinking lots of drinks high in sugar, like soda or the likes.

A change in your vision may also be from diabetes. This is caused by your eye's lenses changing. Your vision might get worse, and if your vision quickly changes (whether for the better or the worse), you may have type 1 diabetes.

There is one symptom that is fairly easy to see. Below I will show you an example.

John one day has decided to start some new sort of diet to lose a lot of weight. After a month he sees very large results, with a great loss of weight, without really doing much of anything to try and lose weight. John may be thrilled that he has now lost a lot of weight and thinks he uncovered a great method of weight loss, but what he does not know is that he may be at risk of diabetes.

To clear some things up, diabetes wouldn't come from the new diet, but the new diet would show the symptoms of diabetes a lot clearer. This is surprisingly a pretty common symptom, so if you see something like this happening to you, you may have developed diabetes. Just remember the facts that I pointed out and you should have a clear vision about the signs of diabetes. Remember though not to jump to any conclusions and first seek advice from your doctor to see if you in fact may have diabetes.
