Fast forward through the next few years. Wherever Eddie goes, a trail of cruelty follows. No one can prove who is behind the vandalism and cruel crimes in the community, but many who know the boy, suspect him.
Years after that fateful morning, and after the early days, when the area was plagued by a vicious vandal, fear again grips the countryside. Several local girls have gone missing. Is Eddie, now a handsome young man, behind the disappearances? Could there be a serial killer on the loose? The answer comes towards the end, with brutal, gory clarity.
This sneak peek is based on an unedited draft of The Slaughter. The screenplay has great potential and, therefore, I give it a thumbs up. Fans of thriller/horror films will enjoy this story. The Slaughter has what the fans crave: blood (a lot of it), suspense, innocent victims and a psychopathic killer.
About the writers:
The initial idea for The Slaughter was conceived by British writer Linda Corby. She approached an American friend and fellow writer, Cathy Jourdan, with the concept and together they created the screenplay. When they are not writing screenplays and other works of fiction, Corby and Jourdan write for various venues including Associated Content. I've included links to their CP pages in the resources section of this review.

Dadgummit -- I want to read the screenplay now! Great review.
Nice job as usual:)
Sounds scary!
If Linda is reading this, I gotta admit, I ain't into this thriller chiller stuff, if the review is accurate. However, anyone who may have stumbled upon this could just go to the AC Linda Corby writings, she is brilliant in her takes on our everyday lives, just scroll through and you may find yourself occupied for an hour or two. -- Mike
I can't watch this type of movie, but I read horror books. This review makes me want to read it.
