The Sleepless CEO - a Rhyming Peep at the Top of the Heap
What's it like to Be in Charge? Are the Nightmares Looming Large?
Will this quarter be a loss?
What about my angry board?
It's been months since I have snored.
Inventory's piled sky-high,
Orders dropped; I'm gonna fry.
Competition's got us beat.
Now I'm in the worry seat.
Offshore orders just fell flat
Wait till Wall Street hears of that!
Our shares will drop, just like a rock,
And I'll be on the chopping block.
My shareholders are claiming fraud,
My secretary wants my bod.
My next-in-charge thinks he's my heir;
I caught him measuring my chair.
Two kids in college, needing cash,
The wife just threw another bash.
The bills are coming; watch me duck.
The Rolls leaks oil, just my luck!
Insider trading? That's a laugh!
The tax man wants my autograph.
They're pushing me, right to the brink;
I might sleep better in the clink!
