The Smallest Grapes You've Ever Seen: Organic Champagne Grapes

A friend of mine and myself accompanied another friend of ours to the hospital to see yet another mutual friend to all of us, whom recently had a stroke, but was in the rehabilitation wing of the hospital. I brought my toddler daughter along with us, because almost without fail, no matter how down or bad any of us feel, once we lay our eyes on a beautiful little girl, for a while our self-concern is gone. Small children light up a room and light up us, that's for sure. I also brought a nice size cluster of Organic Champagne Grapes from Three Sisters, the smallest grapes you've ever seen, which I had recently bought at Whole Foods for the baby because they were so small in size she could eat them without choking on the grape skins.

After visiting for a while with our friend, I thought I would let the child munch on a couple of organic grapes. As I pulled them from the bag where they were stored, I thought I'd do a little more cheering-up in the room by asking-in aI-have-a-surprise-treat sort of way-"have you ever seen grapes this small?" Two of the three friends hadn't seen grapes so small, and fortunately the friend in the hospital was one of them, so that she was pleasantly surprised to see grapes so small in size.

Three Sisters Champagne Grapes fit on top of a U.S. Dime. That's really small grapes! Until I purchased this batch of organic champagne grapes, I'd never seen such small grapes and I'm a grape lover from the womb.

Notice how tightly packed the cluster of organic Champagne Grapes are, making them even more desirable to the eyes. The color is black, or even a dark, dark red, because when you bite into them a shade of red appears.

Tasty Tiny Grapes They Are

Good things do indeed come in small packages! These sweet, succulent little grapes are quite tasty. They burst into your mouth surprisingly with remarkably sweet, flavorful juice. The skins are tight, so that when you bite into them they burst-and without the hassle of seeds too. It's an exhilarating eating experience.

Champagne Grapes Aren't Champagne Grapes

The organic Champagne grapes of this review aren't the variety of grapes used in making champagne. Champagne is almost exclusively made with Pinot Noir, Chardonnay or Pinot Meunier grapes. Three Sisters Organic Champagne Grapes are Corinth grapes, and were grown by Joe Soghomonian on his farm.
