The Ultimate Tax Scam

With all the fear mongering, and discussion of the ultimate bankruptcy of the Social Security system in this country, it has astounded me that so many Americans have not questioned or challenged this tax scam for what it is......a lie on the American people.

Under the 'enumerated powers' of the federal government and Congress, nowhere is there any provision for such a tax. It is not a tax on income, nor fits within the parameters of any of the other Constitutional provisions and authority of the federal government for taxation. FDR and Congress at the time instituted this tax without any authority in the U.S. Constitution to do so, and has provided Congress and the President with 'nonapprortioned' taxes which they have used at will for other expenditures time and time again. The provisions in the U.S. Constitution and it's Preamble are simply a 'declaration' of what the 'purpose' of the Constitution itself was intended to provide. It is a 'contract' between the federal government, states and people, and intended, in order to guarantee the freedoms the founder's were denied in England, to limit government in both it's taxation powers, and it's reach in the average citizen's daily lives. That has not been the case, as the 'general welfare' clause (which it is not, by any means, a clause at all) has been used to validate all manner of usurpation's of the federal government, in order to redistribute wealth, control the economy, and also rob citizen's of the fruits of their labors.

There is no General Welfare Clause at all......it is merely set forth in the Preamble as one of the 'purpose' of the Constitution.

"We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence,promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty TO OURSELVES AND OUR POSTERITY do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."

Would also appear employers who are withholding these sums due to their errant beliefs that the Social Security tax and system is valid and enforceable U.S. law may be woefully mislead. Federal statutes may provide for this requirement, but the Constitution itself does not. It is actually a 'socialistic' provision, not at all within the government's power to inflict upon the U.S. citizens or corporations from the outset - and actually was meant as a 'temporary' measure in order to counter the depression and it's ramifications - also due to the federal government again stepping outside it's authority in 'privatizing' the issuance of currency to the privately held Federal Reserve, without sufficient oversight of both it's practices, and authority. The U.S. federal government is the only entity charged with the issuance of currency, and FDR and that Congress usurped power they had not Constitutional right to 'transfer.'

The Social Security system, as with many other mandates of Congress and the Executive office, are actual amendments to the Constitution, however not enacted per the provisions in it for actual amendments. There is no 'general welfare' clause or powers given to the federal government whatsoever - the language is in the Preamble insofar as 'defining' the intent of the Constitution.

It's is clearly socialism and while FDR's intentions might have been good, they definitely were meant to be temporary due to the Great Depression, and the social security system and the laws surrounding it written as 'mandates' clearly questionably legal, as outside the federal government's specific enumerated powers.
