The Son of God Has Come
A Dedication to the Reason for the Season
a powerful love,
was sent from,
The Almighty above.
His Holy Spirit,
overwhelms, with joy.
His word foretold,
of the boy.
The white dove,
our symbol so pure.
Love blessed, was sent,
to us, so sure.
The star,
marked His birth.
God in flesh,
incarnated on earth.
Christ's love,
pure as gold,
love, unquenchable,
God's Son, foretold.
He has come,
flesh and bone,
Come to save,
of sins, He atoned.
Christ's Son,
perfect, without blame,
mocked, then spat upon,
crucified, and maimed.
Remember Him,
this time of year.
For His love is,
So pure and dear
