I thought the gesture was cute but I didn't think I was going to be able to figure out how to actually use the Sony CDP CX455 CD/MP3 changer. It looked a bit difficult and I didn't think I was going to even like it just because of all the buttons I was looking at.
The Sony CDP CX455 CD/MP3 changer came with a sound output mode which meant that I could hook up my special speakers to it and listen to music from my MP3. I never thought MP3 would take over CD but I was wrong, I don't really even use the Sony CDP CX455 CD/MP3 changer for CD playing. The only time I used the CD player was to see exactly how it worked.
The Sony CDP CX455 CD/MP3 changer comes with a small remote control which does nothing but makes me much more lazy. But I enjoy the fact that when I'm sitting on the couch listening to my music and reading a book, I can easily grab for my remote control and change the song.
Now on to the negative parts. The Sony CDP CX455 CD/MP3 changer even thought I used the Sony CDP CX455 CD/MP3 changer for about 6 months, the first few months were awesome. But around the 5 month the artists names started to get scrambled and I wasn't getting the right information when it came to my music. I wasn't sure if this was a defect or what, all I knew was that the Sony CDP CX455 CD/MP3 changer wasn't working like it should have been. Not only this I now can't assign artists names to songs on any Cd, if I wanted to or search for an artists through the interface. So I'm basically stuck with a piece of electronic that only plays music and doesn't' display information.
Even though I didn't pay for the Sony CDP CX455 CD/MP3 changer, I still find it disturbing to be sitting with a CD/Mp3 player that doesn't work. My daughter paid $230 for this player and I think that's a lot of money. I wanted to take it back but she couldn't find her warranty. I tried to call Sony but they refuse to understand what I was trying to say.
I'm not sure I would tell others to buy the Sony CDP CX455 CD/MP3 changer. I've heard that a lot of people have had a major problem with this CD/MP3 player. I wouldn't' waste my money on an item like this. My first experience with the Sony CDP CX455 CD/MP3 changer wasn't a pleasant one, not something I would recommend.
