I must say that the Sony Ericsson Satio is a must talk about in the tech world. For $650 it serves its purpose and that is to put your lifestyle in the palm of your hand.
The pros
Well there are tons of great features on the Sony Ericsson Satio but the one thing that seems to make everyone happy is that it works with all GSM Networks. This was a plus for me because my daughter and I have two totally different GSM networks. All I had to do was insert my Sim card and I was ready to go.
Another thing that is pretty decent about the Sony Ericsson Satio is the great audio visual that it offers. Watching Videos on this phone is exceptionally fun. I'm talking about all around high definition with a nice crisp screen.
It comes with a camera that is 12.1 mega-pixels and has a touch screen that is easy to navigate. I don't really like using the touch screen all that much because I hate using the pen and whenever I use my finger, the screen just gets dirty.
My daughter has an 8GB memory card that she says came with the phone. That's a decent amount of room that allows me to add music as well as videos.
The cons?
The only thing that isn't all that great about the Sony Ericsson Satio is that it doesn't work with 3G networks. I had noticed this when I first started using it. I tried using my internet and the network wasn't responding properly.
Another thing I didn't like about the Sony Ericsson Satio is that it's isn't compatible with Verizon and Sprint because both these companies are CDMA networks. Now this didn't affect me any I just figured that if this phone is going to cost as much as it does then it should be compatible with all networks.
My conclusion
The Sony Ericsson Satio is a decent phone. I think that for the price it's a but too high. But since I didn't pay for it, I wasn't upset. I do think that it needs to become more compatible with CDMA networks but other than that It's a fun phone. It allows me to connect to just about every aspect of my internet life.
