The Sony Ericsson Z310a Phone

The Sony Ericsson z310a is one of the newest models on the market, and it is one sleek looking phone! There are several different colors offered for the front, flip-up part of the phone: brown, pink, or black (the one I have). Of course, it has all of the features you've come to expect from your cell phone. A camera, speakerphone, different ringtones, screensavers and wallpaper - it's all here.

Sony's camera on the z310a is a high quality one, too. Though it doesn't feature any zoom capabilities, which is a big minus in my opinion, it does have the ability to take both still pictures and high quality video, which is a great feature to have. If only they would have added a zoom function, the Sony Ericsson's z310a camera would be completely flawless.

Several ringtones come pre-installed on your phone: Classic phone, Cosmic, Elfish, Hologram, and Party, just to name a few; and of course you can download even more. In addition to this, you can even create your own, completely unique ringtone using the MusicDJ application that comes with the Sony Ericsson z310a, too. The program gives you several different instruments, which you program to play either simultaneously or one at a time on the application's musical timeline - it couldn't be easier! And if you still can't find that one specific ringtone you want, you can even record your own from any source using the microphone on this phone. Talk about customization, options, and providing the customer with a completely unique cell phone!

There are some really cool customizable lighting effects, too. You can choose from Apricot, Disco, Fire, Glimmering Pulse, Ice, Purple, Lantern, Techno, and many more. This makes the sides of your phone light up in any number of colors and flashing or blinking patterns when it rings.

Sony offers a great deal of connectivity with this phone, too. It is fully equipped with Bluetooth capability, an infrared port, and of course it has full access to the World Wide Web. There is also an organizer, a contacts list, alarms and text messaging included on the Sony Ericsson z310a.

As far as games go, however, the Sony Ericsson z310a loses a point. Only 4 are included with the phone: Ace of Spades, Block Breaker, Midnight Pool and QuadraPop. But these are only demos, and as a result they are only playable for a few minutes before they want you to pay and download the full game.

Overall, this is a great cell phone for most any user. If you prefer to have a wide variety of games however, or you think you might have the need to zoom in before taking a picture with your phone, you may want to look elsewhere.
