The Sound of Peace

Drew Bush
The Sound of Peace: powerful.
Powerful as a prayer, the sound of a prayer: a dream, an everlasting dream

The sound of friends and family laughing together-
The pristine beauty and calm of small towns nestled among snow covered hills-
The feeling of a sea breeze that comes of crystal blue waters nipping at the shore-
The setting of the sun below the skyline in the backdrop-
Church bells chiming signaling the start of Sunday services which bring people together as one-
Snow falling upon a small, peaceful neighborhood during Christmas Eve-
Carolers singing calming hymns-
The sound of rain hitting the window in the middle of the night-
Hearing a judge give justice for harm done to a person by another-
The meeting of lips between a husband and wife-
The sound of a mother singing a lullaby to her newborn child-
The sound of winds whipping through mountain aspens-
The cooing of a dove perched on a willow tree and
waking up to the chirping of birds outside your window signaling the start of a new and better day, a day full of hope and happiness
