The Space Between
Just because I can not see you,
Does not mean that you're not around.
Just because I can not hear you're voice,
Does not mean you make no sound.
Does not mean that you're not around.

A part of me keeps you very close,
and protects you all the same.
No matter the space between us,
or who or what is to blame.
When I need to see you I close my eyes,
and shift my focus in.
The space between us means nothing.
Because our paths will cross again.
