There is a big pile of garbage and boxes to be recycled on the curb in front of the driver's side door of my little, teal sedan so I get in on the passenger's side, which is street side. I start the car from the passenger's side with the door still open.
I turn the steering wheel away from the curb, but the wheel turns too sharply and I feel like I am loosing control. So I put my foot out the door and drag my foot and large, black purse on the ground to slow the car down while I am steering it back towards the curb. I manage to slow it down considerably but the momentum still makes it jump the curb slightly as it comes to a jerky stop.
Just then, I see them. Two squirrels are chasing each other down a telephone pole. One of the squirrels decides to bite into the large, black, insulated wire going down the pole. The wire starts sparking like a white-hot firecracker going off. The sparks catch the tail of the other squirrel which then madly runs around helter-skelter. It is on fire and no doubt, in pain. I can see the white hot sparks in its tail and hear them popping like popcorn.
All I can think of is that I must save that poor squirrel and put out the fire before his frantic running ignites the whole block. My sickness disappears as I quickly scan the jam- packed back seat (are we moving?) of my car. I spy my favorite, green and white, heirloom blanket. It will get burned but I have to try to save that poor squirrel.
I grab the blanket and run after the squirrel. By now he is fully engulfed and must be in severe pain. I throw the blanket over the squirrel and gently smother what flames I can. The blanket suddenly shrinks to the size of a towel as I hold the panicked squirrel in my arms. I spy a man from church and quickly bark at him to bring me a bucket of water.
The man from church comes back instantaneously and I gently lower the squirrel wrapped in the towel into the water to stop any remaining fire that might be smoldering. The little guy's head is sticking out of the towel. He is not blinking or moving. He is in shock.
My fiancé appears and we run to my car. He drives as I hold the little squirrel gently in the soaking towel. We must rush to the vet and get him treated for his severe burns. We speed away as the alarm goes off...........!

That is a strange dream.....and you remembered so much! I don't usually remember my dreams.

I don't know much about dreams, but it sounds like something interesting from the subconscious.
