The Spoiled Child of Israel

Getting Away with Murder

Arrhod Shade
The proclaimed author of the Balfour Declaration of 1917 (deemed as the beginning of Israel) resigned as the British Foreign Secretary in 1919 but remained involved as Lord President of the Council. In a memorandum to the new Foreign Secretary he stated that the Balfour Declaration contradicted the letters of the covenant (League Covenant),the Anglo-French Declaration, and the instructions of the King-Crane Commission. All other engagements stated "that the Arab populations could establish national governments of their own choosing according to the principle of self-determination".

Balfour wrote:

"I do not think that Zionism will hurt the Arabs, but they will never say they want it. Whatever be the future of Palestine it is not now an 'independent nation', nor is it yet on the way to become one. Whatever deference should be paid to the views of those living there, the Powers in their selection of a mandatory do not propose, as I understand the matter, to consult them. In short, so far as Palestine is concerned, the Powers have made no statement of fact which is not admittedly wrong, and no declaration of policy which, at least in the letter, they have not always intended to violate."

It is not surprising that Israel came into existence because land was stolen from the Arab peoples in order to appease a handful of Zionists residing in Britain. It is just a bit strange to know that Balfour, himself, would admit that not only were the Arabs not going to be consulted, but the "Powers" that had made the treaties with the Arabs had no intention of honoring the treaties they made.

The U.S was handed the welfare of Israel after terrorist attacks from the Zionists perpetrated on the British government who gave them someone else's land to begin with.

In 1967, Israel seized the West Bank, Gaza Strip, the Sinai Peninsula, Golan heights and East Jerusalem after the Six Day War, a surprise attack on Egypt which drew all Israel's Arab neighbors into the fight. Israel has since been called on many times to return the land they had seized but they refuse the International community every time. Instead they continue to do as they please because they are allowed to, neither America nor anyone else has ever treated them as the spoiled child they are. Why has the International community not forced the issue?

USS Liberty

In the midst of the Six Day War (June 5-10, 1967), the Israeli Air Force, followed by torpedo boats, attacked a U.S. Navel Vessel, the USS Liberty (June 8, 1967) in International waters (pictures of battle damage). 34 American sailors died, 171 were wounded and the ship was severely damaged. This incident remains the only serious maritime incident in U.S. history that the Congress has NOT investigated. There are well over 4.5 million sites that come up from a Yahoo search on the USS Liberty. Israel has always claimed the incident to be a tragic mistake but crew accounts from the USS Liberty have described being waved at by the Israeli pilots and waving back, some "fly-bys" so close that part of the ship would rattle.. A mistaken identity excuse after at least eight (8) fly-bys, with some being close enough to be waved at, does not seem plausible in the least. Why did the U.S. not investigate the murder of U.S. personnel?

Israel also has never admitted to having nuclear capabilities, yet a former Israeli nuclear technician, Mordechai Vanunu, revealed details of the nuclear program to the British Press in 1986. Israel's WMD is a widely known secret, possessing between 75 and 400 warheads in their arsenal, yet they are not held to the same scrutiny as everyone else in the World. Israel is allowed nuclear weapons but their neighbors are not allowed. What gives?

Israel has been called "The Spy Who Loves Us" for good reason. If you search Yahoo, you will find more than 2 million articles about espionage involving Israel. A Google search for "Israeli espionage against the U.S." gives you at least 829,000 web articles. Over the years I have heard anything from Israeli lobbyists spying on us to Israel selling our sensitive secrets to China. We do not allow any other country in the world to get away with that but Israel does. Americans like me would like to know why.

Israel has apparently come up with a new policy to rid their acquired territory of any Palestinian that they can by revoking their residency permit. Mahmmoud Hujaij was born in 1954 in East Jerusalem. In 2006, he was informed that he had to turn over his ID and leave Israel within 30 days. Israeli law prohibits Palestinians from holding duel citizenship (although Israelis are allowed duel citizenships) and living abroad for more than seven (7) years. CNN exposed this story on 12/06. The Israeli Ministry of Interior revoked the residency permits of 4,577 Palestinians from East Jerusalem in 2008. Israel revoked 8,558 identity cards from 1967 - 2007 which shows a serious policy shift starting in 2008. Israel has even done all possible to interfere with young Palestinians attempting to gain a college education (CNN). The U.S. did protest to Israel in 2008 for preventing two Palestinian students from coming to the United States under scholarship, according to the same article.

It seems that if they can't get rid of the Palestinians any other way, they will create something new.

I have read articles and comments on the websites of two different Israeli newspapers and was stricken by the attitude of privilege and entitlement. I have a news flash for Israel, you are not entitled to land that was stolen. Israel is not entitled to steal from Palestinians or other Arabs. Israel is not entitled to murder anyone. Israel is not entitled to run amuck over anyone it pleases without consequence.

Many in the world would find all this to be inexcusable behavior but the United States Government constantly allows it, sometimes without even a slap on the hand. It is extremely disheartening to know that the United States would shelter Israel from the repercussions that are richly deserved.

Religion, namely the Bible, seems to be the license that Israel holds to commit whatever heinous act it chooses. The Old Testament of the King James Bible is virtually the same as the Torah and I can only guess that the American government does not want to step on religious toes, so to speak. Television programs also paint Israel as "The Holy Land". The definition of "Holy" is "exalted or worthy of complete devotion as one perfect in goodness and righteousness" according to Webster's dictionary and, by that definition, Israel does not qualify.

I have to wonder if there is any reason good enough to stand by and watch Israeli atrocities, whether it is acts of murder, war crimes or inhumanity. The U.S. Constitution states that all citizens of the U.S. have a right to their own faith/spirituality but it is not realistic to claim that right. If we truly had the right of "Freedom of Religion", none of us would have to hear of the U.S. allowing atrocities from Israel. We would not have to read about it, watch it or feel as if we run our country with constant double standards. Those who are not Christian would not have to give our tax dollars to support legalized religious terrorism.

There is good reason for some countries to target Americans abroad. That reason is that our government, with the help of Israel, has intentionally placed a target on our back.

True democracy does not exist. The U.S. Constitution guarentees all American citizens certain rights that we all assume will prevail against all else but realistically do not. With the Supreme Courts ruling...  View profile

I know why Israel gets away with what they do - the Jewish lobby. In the US, the Jewish lobby spends so much money lobbying Congress that NO politician dares stand up against Israel. You KNOW Israel is doing something wrong when the ONLY country in the world that supports them is the US. Great article and absolutely agree with you. Unfortunately, as you discovered in the forums, many Americans will call you 'anti-semitic' if you disagree with what the Israeli govt. does. Israel has done a good job of creating that stereotype too!
