The Sprint Muziq LX570 Phone by LG Beats the iPhone Hands Down
Being a Spoiled American Just Got a Little Bit Easier
Now I can spend my idle time watching TV, listening to music, and/or working. That's right. "and/or" is not a typo. By using the built-in application manager, while listening to music, I can also send an Instant Message, play a game and also enjoy various other activities. Via Sprint TV, I can watch Comedy Central, CNN Mobile TV, The Disney Channel, Fox Sports and more than 50 other channels of live television and on-demand video and audio.
Not only do I have the luxury of ignoring my neighbors while waiting in line at the post office, I can simultaneously also strike-up e-conversations with total strangers in the next hemisphere by accessing Sprint Power Vision's wireless chat rooms.
With my Sprint Muziq phone, I can record and store up to 20 seconds of video. Then I can upload the video or save it as an animated screen saver. Its PictBridge technology allows me to connect a USB cable to the phone and print photos directly to a printer.
Of course the Muziq LX570 comes equipped with the music manager software CD, a 64 MB microSD memory card and an adapter to expand the phone's memory space. But, because I am quite directionally challenged, I was most delighted to learn that it has hands free voice and turn-by turn GPS capability.
The aptly named Muziq phone was designed with the true music aficionado in mind. It comes equipped with a FM transmitter which really comes in handy when attempting to watch TV at the gym. And, it has a Music Composer (that's right...I have the ability to compose music using this phone. Trust me, Beethoven is doing a 360 in his grave).
Of course it has features that are pretty much standard for most cell phones these days. It comes stocked with a camera, great reception (I haven't lost a signal, yet), ring tones, advanced stereo Bluetooth technology, address book, calendar, internet browser, email, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera ...
With all of these features, it's difficult to believe that the sleek Muziq LX570 costs less than $200 and only weighs 3.14 ounces. For price and functionality this cell phone really gives the iPhone a run for its money.
Oh! I almost forgot to mention, if push comes to shove, I can also use it to make phone calls. Ignoring my neighbors has never been so easy.
