The Star Fish
You and I walked down to the tide pools,
And I saw the starfish there,
I watched how slow it moved,
And thought, how cool it would be,
To be shaped just like a star,
And living in waters cool,
To be so free, and never in a hurry!
But not one creature on this earth,
Has a free ticket from birth.
Do you think the star fish,
Maybe thought how cool it is
To be me?
