The Stars Still Shine Bright

Jean Davis
We may be quite tired when we come to the end of a beautiful day,but

our spirit will revive as we watch the sky change colors from blue to shades of pink, violet and grey.

The sun disappears over the western horizon in a fiery golden blaze of glory.

This scene is repeated day after day.

Well, most of you know the story.

The earth revolves on it's axis so silently we are seldom aware we are turning.

Sometimes we look back only a few short years almost with a heartfelt yearning.

At one time we could see a million stars at night after the darkness settled in.

Now our earthly lights shine and make the stars kind of dim.

They are still there held firmly in place: all at God's command.

Everything in this universe shows evidence of being fashioned by the Master's hand.

Science sometimes tries to explain it away but their answer comes back inconclusive

Just read about it yourself in Genesis Chapter one, you'll find it not at all illusive.

Tonight, if you can find a place away from all city lights, look up and you will see

a million stars still shining bright.

Hi Jean Davis... keep writing about the Lord, there are those who are listening. And hopefully some lost sheep will be found. T. Veblen
