Last year, my husband, my children, my parents, and I made one of these necessary treks down to Montgomery, Alabama and stayed in one of the most wonderful hotels: the Staybridge Suites located in the East Chase area of Montgomery. One of the officials at the university had recommended this place of lodging, and my family and I are so glad that she did. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and helpful; the suite was spacious and accommodating; the amenities were amazing; and the location was convenient and nearby to many stores, restaurants, and churches. Our children were especially fond of the outdoor pool and the sports court.
The Staybridge Suites are located at 7800 EastChase Parkway. Montgomery, Alabama 36117. To make a reservation, you can call 1-877-238-8889, or to reach the front desk, you can call 1-334-277-9387. You can also book a reservation and see more about the hotel at Staybridge's website.
Pricing for the suites for a family of five is very reasonable at $204 a night for an extended stay, and that price is without any type of discount applied. Several different forms of discounts are offered and honored by Staybridge. My family and I were given a discounted rate on our stay due to the relationship that exists between Staybridge and the university where my husband attends - the university often has its speakers and teachers who are from out of town come and stay at this marvelous place. This lovely hotel also participates in the Priority Club program that enables you to earn points to redeem for free nights of lodging as well as other rewards.
Some of the wonderful amenities that this hotel features are a fully-stocked kitchen in the suite, an outdoor pool, barbeque grills, an on-site recreation and sports court, an outdoor fireplace and meeting area, on-site guest laundry and dry cleaning pickup, daily housekeeping, a fitness center, a small convenience store, several specific services to assist business travelers, and a host of others. In addition, the hotel serves a complimentary breakfast every morning and offers beverages hors d'oeuvres at the manager's reception in the evening.
When my husband has to return to Montgomery for another round of his on-campus classes, we will definitely return to the Staybridge Suites for another stay. The staff treats you as if you are family; the accommodations are superb; and the food provided is simply delicious. The Staybridge Suites definitely presents southern hospitality at its best.
