A turbulent sea controlling its fate
Riding waves of emotions from crest to bottom
Hoping uncertainty and fear will someday abate
When we give our heart completely
When that dream becomes our own
We put ourselves in precarious waters
We set ourselves adrift into seas unknown
We wonder what possessed our souls
To leave predictability behind
To embrace risk and stand against fear
Hoping to quell the storms brewing in our minds
Our hearts will certainly be battered
Our courage will be tested and at times it will fail
But our hopes will survive the roughest seas
And in the end our dreams will find a way to prevail

Amen sister. Sail on, yes, sail on. If God is our Captain, we WILL arrive safely.
It does take courage, no doubt about it.
Great imagery!
There is always hope and you are there to remind us!
