The Strip House: Whether it is Houston, New York or Las Vegas, Steaks Are Their Specialty

The Strip House is a premier dining experience in select cities across the US including, Houston, Las Vegas, New York and Key West. Just as selective about their décor and location, are the selective choices of signature prime cuts of beef and the overall dining experience.

The Strip House Atmosphere

Deep rich reds, accents of gold and black and black and white photo images of women seductively posed are the décor. Muted lighting and an elegant atmosphere with high backed cushioned seating and four top tables to secluded corner "pockets" provide for an intimate dining experience.

The comfortable sofas in the lounge encourage you to order a Cosmopolitan or Manhattan, sit back and relax while visiting with friends, watch a game or appreciate a quiet moment either before or after dinner.

Private dining rooms are available. These rooms are perfect for hosting special occasions, corporate events and even bachelor, bridal shower and birthday parties providing all the sophisticated elegance of the dining room, with the privacy your special event may need.

The Strip House Menu

Only the best selections of prime signature cuts of New York Strip Steak, Rib Eye, Table- carved Double Porterhouse and Cote du Beouf. Tender, juicy, charred to perfection, with the taste of cracked black pepper, the Filet Mignon is my personal favorite.

Making choices from the menu is difficult, but made even harder as your server announces the specialties of the evening. After hearing the selections and reading the menu you almost want to concentrate on the opportunity to select the finest cuts of steak and simply enjoying those, but you can't ignore the surprising array of other appetizer and side selections.

My recommendations, Jumbo Shrimp served Chilled, the Caprese Salad with fresh mozzarella, basil and tomato slices. I admit to a weakness for the Truffle Fries, so try to stay away from those unless I'm sampling from a friend or my husband's plate.

The Strip House offers a full bar and an extensive collection of wine available by the glass or bottle.

The Strip House Houston: Awards and Recommendations

Awarded 4 stars by Forbes; "No other place matches Strip House for outstanding steaks and eye-appealing art on the walls." It has also been nominated for best steak house in the country. While available in a few select cities, there is nothing "chain-line" with this top of the line steak house. The have also been awarded Best Houston Restaurants (Travel.AOL.com 9/23//2010); Best Houston Steak (City Search 9/08/2010) and Top Ten Best Wine Cocktails (The Travel Connoisseurs.com)

Perfect for a special date night, anniversary or just because you want only the best, The Strip House serves up elegance, fine dining and the perfect steak. No matter which steak you choose you will find that your choice is even more than a "cut" above all the rest. While pricing may be considered in the four star range too; consider that you are also getting a four star dining experience. After all, the photos are not the only thing seductive about this dining experience.
