Ever since I was a little baby, my parents have always said that I could do anything I ever wanted to do if only I work hard at it. This advice has given me confidence thought my whole life. Every time I feel like giving up on something I just remember what they told me. I believe the secret to success in life is being positive all the time. Negativity does nothing but bring you down. The more you think positive the more good things will come to your life. This secret has gotten me through some of the toughest times in my life.
No matter what I do and how good or bad it is. My parents are probably the only people on this earth that I can say that have unconditional love for me. Even if I came home with a bad grade from school, they wouldn't love me less.
If I burned down the house they might be very upset but it wouldn't affect the love they have for me. I also have unconditional love for them. My greatest fear in life is losing them and I hope that is far in the future.
Almost every day I encounter rude and mean people. After those encounters, I always think about their parents. Were their parents around? Were their parents mean and inconsiderate too? This makes me even more grateful that I have parents that have instilled in me great moral. My favorite one is treat people how you want to be treated. If everyone went by that rule the world would be a better place.
In closing, I am very happy to have the parents that I have because I do not know where I would be without them. They may be overprotective at times, having positive influential parents in my life are important because they have given me unconditional love and have taught me good morals that every person should know.
