The Surreal Life on VH1

What Went Down in the First Episode

Laura Hickey
The Surreal Life has been a highly watched show for VH1 with four successful seasons. In the third surreal life, Brigitte Nielsen and Flavor Flav had a spin-off show to showcase their romance that had begun while they were filming the Surreal Life.

Now it's being rumored in the Surreal Life 4's cast, America's Top Model Adrianne Curry and her man Mr. Christopher Knight have their own TV spin off. So is this season set to bring yet another romance that could bring another potential hit for the station VH1?

Bronson Pinchot who played the loveable Balki on Perfect Strangers thinks so. In the first episode he took a liking to The Next Top Model's former judge Janice Dickerson. Proclaimed as the world's first supermodel, she admits to have plastic surgery. Also in the house resides model Caprice, Pepa from Salt 'n Pepa, Carey Hart, Jose Canseco and Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth.

Forget who Omarosa is? Here's recap. She was on Donald Trump's Apprentice show where she was tapped on the head with some plaster. She insisted she needed to go to the emergency room and was told to take some Advil. She even asked Donald Trump to consider re hiring her after she was fired.

In the first season we see a nerve being rattled as Jose enters the surreal life house. Though the house may be even scarier having a sickening circus theme all around it. The cast wants to know all information about him, such as his past anger issues. Later during dinner Janice can't seem to stop herself from flaunting over Jose's hands and arms.

She constantly interrupts Pepa from explaining how she was discovered. But that's not all the drama Janice causes. She goes ballistic when Bronson puts his around her stomach claiming that he touched her wrongly. She bolts to the phone to call her friend and cries that she wants out of the house and now. After some time she cools off with some help from Pepa. So is this season going to be the best or the worse? It looks like a lot of drama, maybe too much. And was that Balki crying?
