Highlights of the MTV Movie Awards 2011

In the words of the great Foo Fighters, "Learning to walk again. I believe I've waited long enough. Where do I begin? Learning to talk again. Can't you see I've waited long enough? Where do I begin?" We begin with a bang, a break-through performance that leads us across the golden brick road. We conquer the hearts and minds of our fans, who become our truly devoted. We become, ever changing over time, and winning us over again and again with mesmerizing, heart-stopping, breathtaking performances like with the beautiful Reese Witherspoon, who received the 2011 MTV Movie Generation Award. Pure inspiration from those that began in the heart of silver are the sweet promises of youth that now rise and shine. Here are the highlights of the 2011 MTV Movie Awards --

3. M.T.V. (More to View/The Summer Blockbusters have arrived.)

The summer winds are stirring, whispering of heroes on the rise. Intensity is golden with the age of origin, where they all began, and where their journey will go. Our greatest fears, our darkest hours ignite across the Super 8, and destiny roars across the final chapter of one Harry Potter, who holds the fate of the world in his hand. Hot bodies, blistering love, and the cruel burn of lust strikes the Breaking Dawn, and legends fire away into the heart of imagination, a solar eclipse of the Transformers: Dark of the Moon. The sands of summer are shining brilliant with talent, dedication, and heart and soul for the summer blockbusters have finally arrived, only to slowly simmer down into the arms of fall.

2. M.T.V. (Malevolent True Villains)

What does evil look like? Is it as innocent as a dolphin, who only plays possum to its darkest side, the bloodthirsty shark? Does it lie in a broken past, a past that will define a great threat for mankind, a Magneto to the X-Men? Is it woken by heartbreak, the cry for revenge, and the hunt to take down the one responsible, raising an army with an Eclipse of her vengeance? Is it the other half of ourselves tearing through our skin, the madness to claim our mind, and turn a little angel into nothing more than a Black Swan? Evil has no definition but conquers every beginning, where we walked from, and where we will go, a malevolent true villain like Tom Felton's Draco Malfoy, who slowly shed away the layers of a boy and became the haunting wizard to claim MTV's award for Best Villain.

1. M.T.V. ("More Twilight Victories")

As dubbed by the S.N.L. comedian/MTV Movie Awards 2011 host, it was a night of "more Twilight victories." The sweet, buttery aroma to their success was the chemistry that steals our breath away. Haunting kisses, especially of Team Edward locking lips with Team Jacob, true performances of both Best Male and Female Performance, and Best Fight was the mighty roar of fans cheering for this dynamic trinity. Honored with a golden popcorn in hand, words of gratitude filled the air, striking the chords of dreams and inspiration, and loud applause gave chase as they left the stage time and time again. But the best is yet to come, as they promised, and the fans would be waiting, wanting more of Taylor Lautner, Robert Pattinson, and Kristen Stewart. And as the night came to a close, warm memories of success drifted over where they began and where they will go, following the yellow, brick road across the world in Twilight.
