The Children's High Level Group, or CHLP, is an English charity that is co-founded by J K Rowling herself, and helps out those needy children who are suffering in institutions. The CHLG has announced that it plans to release The Tales of Beedle the Bard in December. All net proceeds, which are expected to hit at least $8 million, will be donated to the CHLG. They will publish three separate editions of the book in the English language, and it will be both printed and distributed by three major companies, Amazon, Scholastic and Bloomsbury. For those that choose the Bloomsbury and Scholastic editions, will receive an introduction by Rowling's herself, and additional commentary by the Professor of Hogwarts himself, Albus Dumbledore, on each of the three stories.
For those unfamiliar with this new book, look to the final book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. In it, Hermione Granger received a book from the last will of Dumbledore, entitled The Tales of Beedle the Bard. These were five wizarding fairy tales told to young wizard and witches, which happened to contain a story that held important clues to destroying Lord Voldemort and his horcruxes. However, in the seventh book, only one of the stories was actually spoken about, called The Tale of the Three Brothers. Now, Harry Potter fans everywhere will be able to enjoy not only this famous story, but the four remaining ones as well.
The Tales of Beedle the Bard is sure to be a Christmas hit, for children and adults alike. It can be pre-ordered for guaranteed purchase on its release date through many well-known companies, such as Amazon and Border's Books. Make sure to reserve your copy today and be among those enjoying the newest edition to the Harry Potter series, as well as help donate to needy children everywhere!
