Silent are the tales of dead men
The sound of a single hand clapping
Without life they have instead been
One day gone will surely be all men
On the door the ghost is tapping
Silent are the tales of dead men
Weeping, mourning of their beloved kin
Wake not from eternal napping
Without life they have instead been
Piercing is the pain from within
The open box will now be capping
Silent are the tales of dead men
One sad song sounds from the violin
Those left behind begin unwrapping
Without life they have instead been
Fleeting is life and all that is therein
Tears of sorrow, they are entrapping
