The Tangled Web We Weave

Tye Martin
I'm to tired
It's to hard
It's to slow
It's to hot
It's not enough
I'm not qualified
I'm not ready
I'm not sure
It's to short
It's to soon
It's to late
I'm to thin
I'm to light
I'm to dark
I'm to fat
I'm not sure
It's to fast
It's to much
It's to simple
It's to complex
It's to curly
It's to straight
I'm to loud
I'm not sure
I'm to quiet
It's not right
It's to wrong
It's to tight
I'm to sleepy
It's to messy
It's to crazy
I'm not sure

Free yourself from the web of excuses
that render you paralyzed, caught up and stuck in your own trap.

What a great thought! Lately I have been working hard at pushing myself. Some inspirational stuff!

We often seem to have more excuses than we need, and this has captured it exactly.

You are something else. I like the fact that you listed just about every possible excuse that people think of not to move ahead in life. Keep 'em coming.

Yes, no excuses, just straightforward information.

Hello Tye. I knew there was a verse that goes, "Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive." I didn't know who it was. Looking it up, it's credited to Sir Walter Scott. I don't know who that is, either. But add, "Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive -- ourselves." That's where your verse is spot on, although I'm among those who never had to worry about being too thin. -- Mike
