The Tea Party is Hurting the Republican Party's Image

Any avid follower of what is happening in the political landscape is quite aware that the Tea Party is not a complete union of happy Republican people vying for the same agenda. Do not let the right wing media news outlets fool you on what is really happening in the Republican landscape, the Republican Party is fighting for their political welfare and stature as a once being a potent adversary and foe against Democratic values and opinions.

There is so much endless rhetoric concerning what the Republican Party is about in 2010 that it seems the only way that they can get their voice heard is by means of bashing President Obama on most everything that he sets out to do. The Tea Party is guilty of the same contradictory rhetoric that has become a no win scenario for both parties. The Republican Party proclaims that they are fiscal conservatives fighting for the rights of all Americans, and yet there is a divide between what some Tea Party members are saying and what some senior Republican are doing to improve their tainted image.

Since President Obama has taken his oath of office to embark on the mission to repair a broken and damaged U.S. economy, there have also been many Tea Party members who have blatantly and outright spoke about President Obama using racial epitomes that try to defame his legacy. Here is one example of the disrespectful and ignorant view from one Tea Party member. I just feel he's getting away from what America is," said Kathy Mayhugh, 67, of Jacksonville, Fl. "He's a socialist. And to tell you the truth, I think he's a Muslim and trying to head us in that direction, I don't care what he says. He's been in office over a year and can't find a church to go to. That doesn't say much for him."

This type of bashing has nothing to do with how President Obama's job approval rating is, nor does it bear any relavent truth. The Tea Party is hurting the Republican Party's image due to much of their information about the President's policies and bills are inacurate and distorted, the majority of these rumors are false lies that try to derail the real truth about what the Obama administration is truly about.

I agree with you 100% David, what image is the Republican Party trying to present to the American people who are seeking responsible leadership in a time filled with so much trouble.

What image, exactly, was that? I must have missed it.
