The Ten Day Week
I need it to be extended to ten
Five days of work; two days of fun
And three days to prepare to do it all again
Who do I go to for a calendar change?
Is there a date guru on a mountain far away?
Someone who oversees the seven-day count?
A superhero who has the final days-of-the-week say?
I propose a massive change
Okay, calendar companies might object
I want to add Funday, Napday and Loveday
Is anyone willing this new proposed week to elect?
Three more days of downtime
To recoup from the weekend blast
Three more days of relaxation and love
Just might stop time from going by so fast
What would you do with your new days?
They can only be used as a force for good
Laughing, loving, giving and cherishing
No whining is allowed- that should be understood
Anyone who breaks the new day laws
And focuses on misery, greed or spite
Has to go back and live by the seven-day week
The new days would be a privilege - not an absolute right

Hahaha I love it! Have been in dire need of a Fun Day and perhaps some Love Days as well :)
Our HR department has a hard enough time figuring out the laws about overtime and leave and such without adding in a ten-day week. I'm going to have to opt to keep things as they are just so that my paycheck stays sane.

Days are manmade. I see no reason we couldn't change to your delightful concept. I vote "Yay"!
