The Tender Warrior
(dedicated to David, Aka Web Wizard)
He is a fearless warrior;
Strong and steadfast;
Unnerving and unwavering;
In his opinions;
And in his faith;
Uncompromisingly true;
To his family and friends;
Yet inwardly dwells a tender heart;
He reveals it in small pieces;
In his poetry and in his comments;
A generous and caring soul;
Who provides lovingly;
To the small and defenseless;
He feeds the birds;
And gives them shelter;
Built with his strong hands;
He loves his wife;
And his children are his pride;
He is misunderstood by some;
Yet he is loved and admired by many;
He is a tender warrior;
Unique, gifted, and blessed.
