The Thanksgiving Dinner Poem

Thanksgiving Poetry

Bridgitte Williams

Dear Lord, bless us each and every one.

May your will be done.

We thank you for this food and love.

We who have always had just enough.

We pray for those who are hungry.

For those who are starving.

May they be fulfilled.

Shower your blessings on their meal.

Thank you for our togetherness.

For our holy peacefulness.

We, who enjoy loving family.

We give grace unto all you see.

How thankful we are.

May this Thanksgiving blessing be spread far.

Ours is an open table.

For all that can come and are able.

This food is shared with the prayers of the living.

Bless all and happy Thanksgiving!
