The Things You Hear: Don't Buy American Cars

You Should Always Buy American

David C. Atkin
This was a new one on me, over the years I thought I'd heard it all but I guess there is always a new idiot with a horrible idea, I was out on the internet forum search last night and I heard it again, don't buy GM and Chrysler cars and support socialism.

My question is how can you do that, and still call yourself an American, it's absolute stupidity, I don't like it any better then anybody else that the government has done the most illegal thing that they possibly can, and bought in to these companies.

However you look at this, it is not America's fault that this happened, this whole farce belongs to a few politicians who seen a way to make more money at the expense of the American public, as if things like that have never happened in the past.

But you just cannot blame America for this, and call yourself a loyal American, at best your a half ass American who pushes anti-American rhetoric on the side, hoping that most people aren't really bothering to listen, it does not help our country

Yes I totally agree that the government buy out of the GM and Chrysler was more then wrong, it was a way to help the union gain more power over the automotive industry, it was a way for a few politicians to get even richer.

To most people with half of a brain, it should stink like a garbage dump next to your house, if it doesn't something is wrong, but it's no reason to sell out your country in it's time of need, what you should do, is help any way you can.

Don't stop buying American made products, only buy American made products, keep the money in our country, show people that your a true American, an American who cares about their country, that will make you look a lot smarter in the end.

I realize everybody has their opinions about products made in America, but this is one of those times when you need to get off your soap box, quit supporting those other countries, and be a true American for once in your life, love your country.

There is nothing wrong with being an American, there is nothing wrong with helping your country in it's time of need, however there is a lot wrong with not supporting your country, there is a lot wrong with not buying American.

It's time people, it's time to put your thinking cap on, it's time for one of those light bulb above the head moments, we all need to realize that is we don't decide to start helping our country any way we can, we may wake up and not have a country to save.

I agree when the government socializes private sector big business for any reason it's disgusting, but you should never punish your country for the idiocy of those running it, you should pay attention to what's going on outrage is a good thing.

Outrage shows that you still care about the country, but channel it in to something good, be a true American speak out about the things that you don't like, but never lose the American spirit, never lost the American pride and ingenuity.

I do not buy anything made by unions when I have a choice. They are criminal organizations and destroy the fabric of a company and ultimately the country.

Toyota and Honda may have American based operations%2C but they are not American companies.%0D%0A%0D%0AThis is the reason that they don%27t have to be union companies%2C their headquarters are in Japan.%0D%0A%0D%0AAll the American companies need to do to get rid of the union is move their headquarters out of Detroit%2C to a non-union state.

Obviously you don't get the point here, these companies are based out of Japan, which means that the profit, and the main money from them goes to help the economy in Japan, Not here, study the economy a bit more.
