When I wept, she dabbed me;
When I slept, she watched me;
When I walked, she helped me;
When I laughed, she accompanied me;
When I felt hungry, she fed me;
When I asked sundry, she held me-
Oh! What a slap that was!
When I slept, she watched me;
When I walked, she helped me;
When I laughed, she accompanied me;
When I felt hungry, she fed me;
When I asked sundry, she held me-
Oh! What a slap that was!
Full of love but some painful, alas!
When I got hurt, she gave balm to me;
When I got agitated, she calmed me;
When I was sad, she told me:
"Remember the things want your spunk,
Face them boldly and never funk."
Oh! What a teaching that was,
To be practised without a little pause.
Can anything other emulate her?
No, that's why she's called a mother.
Let's pray and wish for her good health,
And worship the motherliness of Universal Mother
