The Three Best Outlet Malls in Las Vegas

Las Vegas is a shopping paradise. However, why spend your hard earn blackjack winnings on one t-shirt at Ferragamo's when you can get 10 t-shirts at the outlet malls! There are only three major outlet malls in Las Vegas. In this guide, I will provide you with all the info you need to choose the one best for you!

Fashion Outlets of Las Vegas
I-15 at Exit 1 in Primm, NV
32100 Las Vegas Blvd. South
Primm, NV 89019
(702) 874-1400

Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m.- 9 p.m.; Sunday, 10 a.m.- 8 p.m. Of the three outlet malls, this mall is located furthest from the Strip; in fact, it is 45 minutes from the south end of the Las Vegas Strip. The selection of shops and prices here are mediocre at best and do not compare to the other two outlet malls. This outlet mall carries name brands such as Polo, Nautica, and more at a slightly discounted price. While not as crowded as the other malls, this mall should only be frequented by tourist from Southern California who pass by it on their way to and from Las Vegas. The lone bright spot of this mall is its layout which allows the visitor to see all the shops merely by following the pathway in a circle. Parking is also ample during non-holiday and low traffic hours.

Las Vegas Outlet Center
7400 Las Vegas Boulevard South
Las Vegas, NV 89123
(702) 896-5599

Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m.- 9 p.m.; Sunday, 10 a.m.- 8 p.m. The outlet center of Las Vegas is one of my personal favorite spots to shop. Great deals abound and the shops are numerous, name brands like Nike, Nautica, Corning, and Clarks are all represented. You can find clothes for as low as 5$. A great time to come is during the holidays where great discounts are given. The indoor shopping area is a great escape for the Las Vegas heat during day time. A food court is also available for a nice break from shopping. The only downfall to this outlet mall is the poor layout. The shops are organized in a straight line. Therefore, in order to explore the shops, you would have to walk from one end of the mall to another and then back again to reach your car. If you plan to explore this mall, be sure to park at either ends of the mall and not the middle to minimize walking; also, be sure to wear comfortable shoes!

Las Vegas Premium Outlets
875 S. Grand Central Parkway
Las Vegas, NV 89106
(702) 474-7500

Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. ; Sunday, 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. Holiday hours may vary.

This is the largest outlet mall in Las Vegas and has the best prices by far. I actually found really nice Quicksilver button up shirts here for $2.50 tax included. Amazing deals and even more selection, the Las Vegas Premium Outlets includes all the shops that can be found at Las Vegas Outlet Center and much more. Shops unique to this outmall mall includes, Coach, French Connection UK, Crocs, and many more! The layout is better than Las Vegas Outlet Center as it is a large circle. The food court is huge and has comfortable seating. This outlet mall is so large that it is almost impossible to see everything in one day, especially for serious shoppers. If you intend to explore this outlet mall with more than one female in your group, consider your whole day gone. The only negative side to this mall is that it is an outdoor mall. Meaning that to get from shop to shop, you'll have to head outdoors. While this would be okay in most part of the country, it can be draining in the Las Vegas heat, so be sure to wear a hat and follow tips to avoid dehydration. If you can stand the heat, get ready to carry bags and bags of purchases home! One thing to note is that parking here is horrible and especially horrible during the holidays. Here's an insider tip, if you are visiting this mall on a weekend or holiday, feel free to park at the giant "World Com" building. Parking is free and though you will have to walk a little bit to get to the mall, but it sure beats being frustrated waiting and searching for a parking spot. Saving gas means more money for shopping!

Hope you enjoy this guide and put it to great use! Until next time, shop well and prosper!
